Ridgeland, Miss. – Central Mississippi REALTORS® (CMR) President Yolanda Parris completed the first stop of her 2025 Presidential Tour on Thursday, meeting with brokers and elected officials in Attala, Holmes, and Yazoo counties to discuss key issues impacting the real estate industry and local communities.

During the visit, Yolanda and CMR staff engaged in productive discussions with city and county officials, focusing on market trends, industry challenges, and opportunities for collaboration. Strengthening relationships with local leaders is a central goal of the tour, affirming that REALTORS® are not only key partners in shaping economic growth and housing policies but also strong advocates for homeownership and the communities they serve.

“This tour is about more than just conversations—it’s about building strong, lasting relationships that benefit REALTORS® and the communities they serve,” said Yolanda. “Hearing directly from brokers and local officials allows us to advocate more effectively for our industry and ensure that homeownership is accessible and sustainable in these areas.”

The 2025 Presidential Tour will continue throughout the year, with three additional stops planned across CMR’s ten-county jurisdiction.
