Ridgeland, Miss. (June 6, 2024) – Central Mississippi Realtors® (CMR), celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, is excited to announce their upcoming Realtor® Volunteer Day on Monday, June 10, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Sunnybrook Children’s Home. This special event will bring together real estate professionals from all over central Mississippi to provide much-needed support through painting, landscaping, cleaning, and other manual labor tasks.

“As we celebrate a century of service, Realtor® Volunteer Day is a testament to our ongoing commitment to give back to the communities where we live and work,” said Mercedes Green, CMR Community Outreach Committee Chair. “We are proud to mark our 100th anniversary by making a tangible difference at Sunnybrook.”

Sunnybrook Children’s Home, located in Ridgeland, offers essential services to foster children and parents, while also preparing older youth for independent living through education, job training, and life skills development within a healthy Christian environment.

“Across the country, almost 66% of all Realtors® volunteer monthly in their community. Giving back is part of who we are as both people and professionals,” said Sterling McCool, CMR Board of Directors President. “Together with NAR, we encourage local Realtors® who have a heart for service and a passion for giving back to their communities to participate.”
