It's been a busy summer for the Young Professionals Network of Central Mississippi REALTORS® ! In early June, YPN began a summer community service project at the Boys & Girls Club (1450 West Capitol Street Jackson MS) including a total transformation of the art room!

The renovation project includes the following activities:

  • Debris removal
  • General cleaning of walls, floors, doors and sinks
  • Purchase and installation of new ceiling tiles
  • Repairing electrical outlets
  • Brick and mortar repair
  • Prep & painting
  • Removing old cabinetry
  • Purchase and installation of new cabinets
  • Repairing and resurfacing flooring
  • Purchase of art supplies and equipment

Volunteer efforts and generous donations made through the dedicated "GoFundMe" page have been a tremendous resource for this renovation project. Today, YPN's Advisory Panel is sorting through estimates for the completion of floor and wall repair and hopes to wrap up this project by the end of summer.

"We look forward to making this art room a unique place that children in the greater Jackson area can use to express themselves creatively but we need your assistance to make it happen," says Ashley Howie, YPN Chair.

Central Mississippi REALTORS invites you to take advantage of this opportunity to partner with our Young Professionals Network for such a notable cause. If your broker firm would like more information on how to provide resources for this project, call the Board Office at 601-948-1332 or visit the GoFundMe page here.
