TOTES FOR HOPE
Relief Effort for displaced Hurricane Harvey families
Sherry Meadows, NAR President Region V, is calling on Central Mississippi REALTORS® for help in coordinating a huge REGIONAL effort to get items for hygiene care packages to Texas for those in shelters.
“Totes for Hope” is a relief effort that provides gallon-sized Ziploc bags filled with travel sized toiletry and hygiene items for families living in Houston’s shelters.
Each bag will be stuffed inside blue totes provided courtesy of Florida Realtors®. Those filled totes will then be shipped to the Texas for distribution to Houston and surrounding area shelters.

Again, thank you for all heeding the call to help our neighbors in Texas that are displaced by catastrophic flooding due to Hurricane Harvey. In Region 5, we are all too familiar with the immediate human need that arises after these storms, and we know how strongly a community comes together to help.
Please closely keep an eye on HURRICANE IRMA. Projections are showing the hurricane category 3 and nearing the lesser Antilles and Southeast coast in the next 5 to 10 days.
