Successful Open Houses

Taking a little time in advance to learn about a neighborhood in which you plan to hold an open house may result in turning a looker into a buyer.

Take a few minutes before you go to:

  • Look at the neighborhood website to learn about the neighborhood amenities to share with potential buyers.
  • If there is a neighborhood pool, clubhouse or other amenities ride by before the open house so you can talk about those with confidence
  • If there are covenants or rules, pull a copy to have with you in case a prospective buyer asks if there are such
  • If there is an HOA Assessment, what all does it cover?

The more you know about the neighborhood in which you are working the more knowledgeable and professional you appear to potential buyers. Potential buyers assume you are the expert. Show them that you are.
