Central Mississippi REALTORS® Members Recognized at MAR Annual Convention & Expo

The Mississippi Association of REALTORS® held its Annual Convention and Expo in Meridian, Mississippi October 4-6, 2022. This year’s theme, “It’s Showtime” symbolized the exciting lineup of speakers, as well as the beauty of the historical Riley Center, Meridian’s Grand Opera House.

Several talented Central Mississippi REALTORS® members shined on stage, as they accepted awards. Yolanda Parris was recognized for Creating Leaders, and Carla Palmer was recognized for Creating Opportunity. Dorothy Thompson was chosen as Mississippi REALTOR® of the Year. Shellye Barnes was inducted into the RPAC Hall of Fame. Katie Warren was recognized as an Under 40 Award Winner, and Ann Prewitt was recognized as the MRI Instructor of the Year. Lynette Suttlar and Laci Pittman were honored as 2022 graduates of the Leadership MAR Class. Janice Shows was inducted into the MS REALTORS® Hall of Fame, the highest honor of MAR.
